This is one I have been sitting on. In my attempt to bring events and attention to Hannan, I am excited to announce that next Friday, March 21, Marshall University President Brad Smith will be speaking to the Hannan student body and student guests from Point Pleasant HS.
What started out as him speaking, has turned into a full blown Green and White Day at Hannan. There will be tables and exhibits from various different departments. A MU Vocal
group performing and of course an appearance by Marco! (we are also working on so representatives from the athletic department).
I am really excited to share that part of the event, will be Brad and seniors from Hannan (with their families) who are going to Marshall, doing a signing day event. Also, any Point Pleasant Senior (and their families) that are going to Marshall, can also have a signing day event with Brad.
Also speaking will be former Marshall University football star and current Hannan HS football coach, Josh Cordell. The Hannan community is invited. The official event will be 9:30-11:00. Then pictures and students viewing the exhibits from 11:-12:00.
Hannan is now setting the standard!
