Hannan Junior/Senior High School

9th, 10th 11th, and 12th graders were able to visit Marshall University Campus today. Students were able to attend an academic showcase highlighting all MU majors and talk to faculty. We were able to hear from a student panel of current Marshall students and ask questions. We took a walking tour of campus and able to see a sample dorm room; visited the library; recreation center and learned a lot of history of Marshall (Marco the mascot came from Marshall College -Mar-Co). To wrap up the day, we got to eat a free lunch at Harless, and the kids loved that it was ALL YOUR CAN EAT! Good food; good tour; good times! Can't wait to go back next year! Thanks GEAR UP program!!
