Open House will be THE EVENT to attend!
We are mixing it up this year!
The students will have a scavenger hunt to find their classes and teachers! After the scavenger hunt, the students will have a chance to win a pair of wireless ear buds.
The adults will also have chances to win multiple door prizes as well. In addition to Open House, we are having a resource / job fair. Approach a vendor and ask a question, and receive a ticket that will go towards the drawing for a door prize. The more vendors you talk to, the more chances to win a door prize!
That's not all!
David Lee with Parent Guidance will offer a workshop for parents who just need a little extra help with parenting these days. His organization offers free virtual therapy; free parenting tips; and 24/7 access via their app messaging for those times when you just need someone to talk to about your child.
AND. Homeland Security will have a booth to talk to parents about helping to keep your child safe from online dangers.
AND. College for WV & HATS will be there to answer questions about college resources and financial aid.
AND. If you are looking for a job, NUCOR will be there along with other organizations that are looking to hire or can help you find a job.
PLUS. Over 17 vendors will be there in attendance so lots of lots of good information and resources will be there.
