Alcohol and cannabis remain the most common substances used by youth, yet many of the risks are misunderstood. In partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), this session will explore the consequences of underage drinking and cannabis use, why students experiment, and how binge drinking and blackouts affect the developing brain. Participants will also gain practical strategies to engage students and partner with parents in prevention.

Mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and self-harm are showing up in schools more than ever, and the signs can be easy to miss. In partnership with Minding Your Mind, this session combines clinical expertise with a powerful personal story from a young adult who has lived through these struggles. Educators will leave with tools to recognize early warning signs, reduce stigma, and support students with empathy and care.
