Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
Functional Family Therapy (FFT) services in Mason County, West Virginia. At this time, there is little to no waitlist, allowing families to access services quickly without delay.
FFT is an evidence-based, short-term intervention designed to improve family functioning, communication, and problem-solving, while reducing risk behaviors in youth. Services are grant funded, ensuring that families can participate without financial barriers. The only criteria to be eligible is families must have a child between the ages of 10 and 18 living in the home. These services can be provided in-home or via telehealth, based on the needs and preference of the family.
FFT can be especially valuable for families navigating challenges related to communication, conflict, emotional regulation, or reunification/adoption processes. FFT team works closely with families to strengthen protective factors, increase support systems, and empower lasting change.
Referrals can be made directly to the program via email, and they are available to coordinate with other community resources to best meet the needs of families.
