GEAR UP tries to expose high school students to college campuses. We have been to Marshall University, Mount West CTC and will be going to Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center on March 31st.
But if your student wants to visit an in-state college that has a specific Major they are interested in, by all means, please reach out to me and I will see what I can arrange.
For example, this week we took a campus tour of West Liberty University to check out their Zoo Science Program. It's a beautiful campus with such friendly people who answered all our questions on Zoo Science. We toured the residence halls (dorms), dining hall, student activity center and various academic buildings. We also met with a Zoo Science professor who gave us valuable information and a peek of the animals in the Zoology Lab.
