Mr. Duff's students recently took part in an exciting inquiry-based learning challenge!

They were given a box of LEGOs and tasked with building and programming a robot to travel down the hallway, make a turn, and continue on its path.

The first few attempts did not go exactly as planned. The robots were turning too soon!

Students analyzed the problem, made adjustments to their code, and reprogrammed the robot to travel farther before making the turn.

Through trial and error, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving, students experienced firsthand how engineers and programmers work to overcome challenges.

Great job demonstrating perseverance and innovation!
