The Family Fun Night and Band Concert will be Thursday May 12th from 4-7. The event starts with the concert at 4pm in the gym. We will have booths for parents to visit that include: NECCO, GEAR UP, College and Career, Dual Credit, Community Technical Education, Freshmen Foundation, and much more. The West Virginia General Summative Assessment for 7th and 8th grades begins tomorrow May 2nd. Students are asked to bring their charged laptops to school each day. Special thank you to the athletic boosters for a successful sports banquet.

Hannan Junior Senior High School announcements for the week of April 4th: There will be a National Honor Society Induction at 5:30 in the cafeteria on Friday, April 8th. Friday is also a two hour early release day for Faculty Senate. Spring break is the week of April 11th through the 15th.

Hannan Announcements Week of 3/21: SENIORS-FAFSA Night is this Tuesday from 4-6 pm. If you plan on going to a post-secondary school, you MUST complete the FAFSA. The Job Corp will be at school this Thursday at 12:30 to speak to seniors about an alternate post-secondary opportunity. JUNIORS, SAT School Day is this Wednesday. This Friday is a PLC EARLY RELEASE for all students.
Announcements Week of 3/14: The Local School Improvement Council meeting will be on Tuesday (3/15) at 5:00 in the office conference room. Come and discuss the school and activities that are taking place. The end of the 3rd Nine Weeks ends this Thursday (3/17). Buddy League games start this Saturday (3/19) in the high school gym.
