Mason County Schools wishes all our students and families a Merry Christmas. Schools will be closed for students from December 20-January 3. Students return Monday January 6, 2025.
College Fair was today. Sending thank you to Kentucky Christian University; Concord University; HATS Program / Marshall University and Mount West for talking to our students and letting them know all about their programs and opportunities!
Thank you to everyone who showed up for the 1st Annual Community Christmas Night last night! We made decorations, decorated the tree in front of Hannan JrSr High; enjoyed some cookies and cocoa and topped it off with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Then we enjoyed a WONDERFUL Band concert! Thank you Hannan Athletic Boosters for sponsoring this MERRIEST of events!

It's important that parents come so that we can help you set up your ID as well. It will be located in Ms. Page's Room (room 120). Marshall University Campus Tour has been rescheduled for January 31, 2025. All high school students are invited to attend the Green and White Day. It's an open house that features academic showcase where students can talk to all of the different academic programs, be provided free lunch, speak with a student panel, and tour the campus. Consent slips are in the office and due back by January 10, 2025.

Field trips to Morehead KY and Marshall University will be cancelled for Thursday due to weather conditions. We will notify everyone when the trips are rescheduled.
All Mason County Schools will be operating on a 2 Hour Delay Thursday December 5, 2024 due to continued widespread power outages.
